Check out the awesome young musos who performed at the Bulldogs/Dolphins NRL game as part of our Next Level Game Day Showcase! I’m so proud to be working with these brilliant young artists 👏 Shout out to the City of Bundaberg Drum Corps for setting the tone perfectly 🥁👌
Took my good friend Elerrina along to a networking event tonight at CQ University in Bundaberg. It was called ‘Connecting Creatives’, facilitated by the Bundaberg Council and our Art Gallery and even though it was focused on connecting Arts and Health, I learned a lot, especially about the research that’s being done into the quantifiable impacts of arts (of all kinds) on recovery from things like psychological and neurological conditions. The value of the arts can never be overstated 💝
This will be our 3rd time playing at this awesome festival! Sharing the stage with some great friends too, it’s going to be a lovely day. See you there tomorrow! 🎶🌞🌊🥰
🙏🙏🙏LONG-ASSED GRATUITIY POST🙏🙏🙏 What a weekend! 😍 I need to say an enormous thank you to everyone involved – The Next Level Showcase at the Bulldogs/Dolphins game on Saturday was an unbelievable success! To all the artists who performed – The Flaming Koalas, Vette English, our Runner-Up Rezen Heart (Josie & Mace) and our Winner Brooklyn Sauer – I hope you’re all feeling super proud, because you should. Every one of you gave a great performance, you were all super professional and played at a standard that honestly took a lot of people by surprise. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen – our sponsors the Bulldogs, Empirical Music, Triple M Bundy, The Waves Sports Club and Bout Time Music, and extra special thanks to Andrew Gifford (Bulldogs Director) for his ongoing support of this project and to Batman (Wayne) for running all the production and making everyone sound schmick 👌 Thanks also to the City of Bundaberg Drum Corps for setting the mood at the start of the day- you guys looked and sounded brilliant! 🥁 After that, we set another rig up for the Luke Combs Tribute Show at the Club Hotel, where Batman was again mixing and making people sound awesome. Everyone in the band was really lovely and the crowd was having the time of their lives. Then… we packed down from that band a set ourselves up and played to friggin huge crowd for rest of the night. We’ve never set up and packed down a full PA system 3 times in one day, and I don’t think we ever will again, lol 😜😩 Final thank you is to our friend Matthew Farthing, for turning up just to help us entertain the crowd and give my voice a break. It was so generous and a really fun, unexpected jam 🥰 I’m gonna stop talking now, I just had to get through everyone. In the coming days, I’ll share some videos from the event, but for now – just thank you. You guys are all so cool to work with 🫶
