Congratulations to our Winner Brooklyn Sauer and Runners-Up Rezen Heart – you guys all showe serious commitment and talent! Also to everyone who performed – I know I keep saying it, but it was such a difficult choice for us judges, you were honestly all brilliant! 👏🏆 So difficult, in fact, that Bulldogs Director Andrew Gifford told us that he wanted you all to perform on Game Day! 🤩 So, after some quick approvals and shuffling of plans, we made it happen!

I’ve been discovering some incredible new music (well, new to me) lately and I feel like I should be sharing it! I’m gonna kick it off with a brilliant band called ‘Lawrence’, an 8-piece from New York that features siblings Clyde & Gracie Lawrence, who have some truly exquisite talents. Both their voices are phenomenal, the band is killer and their songs are funky af. This is their hit single ‘Don’t Lose Sight’, which is the perfect place to start, but I definitely recommend checking out their other songs, especially their collaboration on ‘Wherever I Go’ with Jacob Collier, who I’ll bang on a bit about soon, ‘cause he deserves an opus of his own. This has got to be the most amazing accolade I’ve ever heard of a 5-year old composer, check this out (from their Wikipedia page): “When Marc Lawrence (Clyde & Gracie’s Dad) was working on the 2000 film Miss Congeniality and was not pleased with his options for the Miss United States pageant theme song, he turned to Clyde to see what he thought was wrong. At only age five, Clyde wrote his own version, and the film’s other producers chose it without knowing its writer. The Miss United States pageant anthem that Clyde composed is prominently featured in the film, and his composition led him to become the youngest member of the Songwriters Guild of America” 😲🎼✨
